Adult Ministries
See Christ formed in you through learning opportunities where we come to know Jesus in ever deepening ways.
Adult Ministries
In some sense, becoming a Christian involves the slow overhaul of our entire way of thinking, feeling, and acting. When the apostle Paul told the new Christians in Galatia that he longed to see “Christ formed in you” he was referring to the path of growth between their spiritual infancy and their later Christian maturity when they would be more like Christ himself. While nobody ever “arrives” at full spiritual maturity in this life, God does give us the tools for growth. At WCPC, our Adult Discipleship/Christian Formation ministries seek to provide opportunities to grow whether you’re a curious non-Christian, a beginner Christian, a Christian who has wandered but is returning, or a mature Christian who is hoping to go deeper.
What to Expect
All of our gatherings are open to everyone, even if (perhaps especially if!) you are still exploring Christianity for the first time. As you’ll see, we offer four main types of gatherings: (1) newcomer events that help orient curious guests to the church’s beliefs and practices, (2) short classes on a variety of spiritual/biblical topics, (3) ongoing community groups that meet in private homes during the week, and (4) specific women’s and men’s events.
Christian Formation
Our Christian Formation gatherings are multi-week classes that tend to fall into one of three categories: (1) “Approaching Christianity” classes are for those who are considering the Chrisitan faith but still have many questions and even strong doubts. One such recurring class is called “Hard Questions for Christianity” where we cover topics like “Doesn’t being a Christian make you narrow-minded?” and “Doesn’t science disprove the Bible?” (2) “Christian Foundations” is where we dive deeper into the basics of Christian belief, especially for those who are considering becoming a Christian or make WCPC their church home. (3) “Christian World-and-Life View” gatherings are short topical studies on biblical or theological themes (ex. “Overview of Genesis”; “What is Reformed Theology” “Why Does the Trinity Matter”) and training in practical Christian living (“Learning to Pray”, “How to Share Your Faith Without Being a Clod”, “Making Marriage Work”)

Women
We are a gathering place for women of all ages and stages. It is our desire to encourage and equip women in building the Kingdom of God so that they can do the same for others. We all long to belong, to be known and accepted right where we are. We all need a safe place to ask questions and be able to explore and discover more about God and ourselves.
That’s why we have created different times and spaces for you to do just that: whether it’s being part of a book club, Bible study, coffee talk, or game night as we spend time cultivating our faith and friendships. By bringing together women of varying ages and stages, we are able to provide unique experiences of fellowship for women beginning or continuing in their faith journey.
Wherever you are in your life, we hope to have a chance to welcome you and get to know you and we thank you for stopping by.

Women's Community Groups
Community Groups are a way to gather in more intimate settings, often with elements of worship, fun, eating together, and service.
Men
Men’s Ministry strives to bring the men of the church together to build friendships through multiple activities. We strive to have one activity a month, for all of the men. These include, breakfasts, BBQ’s, campouts, softball, car races, and golf outings. We also encourage the men to join a small prayer group of 3-5 guys that meets on a daily basis using the internet.
