Redhead Rocks

1 Samuel 17:40 mentions how David pulled five “smooth” stones out of a stream. Smooth, round rocks are found where there is moving water, or where water was moving long ago. The rock that the twins gave Concord for inspection was also smooth and round. Yet, the twins claimed it came from the top of Mount Redhead. Concord realized that any rock that is actually from the top of a tall mountain like Mount Redhead wouldn’t have the appearance of being eroded by running water. The twins were forced to confess that they had spray painted rocks that were actually from the bottom of the Grand Pine River. They were stuck with a backpack full of rocks and a big paint bill.
