The Party Piggy Bank

The Solution (hover over the black below to see the solution)

Romans 9:21 indicates that a potter can make more than one item out of one lump of clay. In this case, Rodney made two piggy banks out of his lump of clay. Concord realized that Rodney’s piggy bank was smaller than other students’ creations because Rodney needed enough leftover clay to make a second bank. Nobody knew that Rodney had made the second bank because all the sculptures were microwaved at home. Rodney stole the money simply by swapping the empty piggy bank for the full one. The short time during the afternoon break when Mrs. Pound and the rest of the class were out of the classroom was all the time Rodney needed to make the swap.
